(Late) Free Music Friday

Visit http://www.defendpoppunk.com/ to download a 12 song mix (various songs from their different albums) from New Jersey Pop-punk band; Man Overboard.

As a firm believer that pop-punk will NEVER die, nothing but support for these current acts is what's keeping this grenre alive! Check out the mix and catch Man Overboard on their current tour through March (or April for those in the UK).

Article of the Week

I've been even more excited for this coming weekend than normal. During the week all of my attention is turned to my heavy class load, as well as working Monday - Thursday. So each weekend holds the promise of time to relax and unwind.
While trying to expand my rather small beverage knowledge/experience I stumbled across this lovely article with several different ideas and instructions for several different drink combinations that won't leave your wallet thirsty.

I also discovered the helpful site http://www.drinksmixer.com/ which shows you different drink options you can make based on the Ingredient(s) you pick.
Cheers to the weekend, my friends!

(Relatively) Free Music Friday

For a limited time Californian indie-pop group Hellogoodbye are selling their latest album online in a "name your price" fashion.

You can download Would It Kill You? from the starting price of 1$ (and there is even a skittles option that was just added).

So do yourself a favor and download the perfect soundtrack for these upcoming sunny and Spring days.

Urban Outfitters is one of those stores I check out often, but I almost never purchase items there unless they are greatly marked down.
But today I was unstoppable and did some major damage to ole Urban.
You might want to go check out their sale section the next few days cause it seems they are doing some spring cleaning!

Peter Jensen sweater Originally priced at $88, marked down to $50, then again to $20 (I just had to give these little guys a good home!)
O'Hanlon Mills Fair Isle Moccasin; originally priced at $30 (and still priced that online) but marked down to $9.99 in store.
Solid BDG Crew-Nick priced at $14 and marked downt o $4.99.
Stapleford flannel priced at $59 marked down to $30 and then again to $9.99.

And finally the biggest steal of the day. These Bed Stu Suede boots were originally priced at $128, marked down to $60 and purchased at the markdown price of $29.99. (The store also carried Brown).

Added up my savings were over $200 dollars, which is way more money than I even spent. And I think it's safe to say when the amount you end up saving, is MORE than the amount you spent, you just found a good deal.
